I rated myself as "excellent", but only in comparison to my other friends who are grandparents also. Although I am not really an expert, I love my iphone and enjoy thoroughly my new MacBook Pro.
Honestly, I don't know how people could possibly stay in touch with their loved ones - so well - without the use of technology today. What a blessing!
Each time I go to Texas to visit my daughter, who is only there for one more year (thank heavens) my 6-year-old grandson Ethan - hijacks my iphone. I'm not about to let technology separate me from my grandkids.
For Ethan and I - it brings us together. I can't wait to figure out how to talk to him using my cool new computer, where we will be able to SEE each other while we talk. How cool is that?

Thanks for your comments Kathryn. One of the tutorials I will be doing on the grandparent website is videochatting. There are several ways, but if you both have a Mac, it's sooo easy! I videochat with my grandkids weekly.

I am pretty good at the web stuff, but have not tried video chat. Texting is crazy - why text when you can talk? But the kids love it.
